Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, birthdate, family and household details, information about your children (provided by a parent or guardian), your interests and how you would like to get involved, and anything you write in a message or prayer request.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, some information is collected automatically, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies by our website host and by Google Analytics (see Section 5).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions and follow up when you ask us to connect with you
  • Pray for you and provide pastoral care
  • Help you join groups, serving teams, events, and ministries
  • Process your gifts and provide contribution statements

4. Prayer Requests

Prayer requests are treated with care. Requests you submit are shared with our pastoral staff and may be shared with trusted members of our prayer team so they can pray for you. We do not publish prayer requests publicly without your permission. Please use discretion when sharing details about other people, and avoid including information about others that they would not want shared.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

The Site relies on trusted service providers. When you use these features, your information is handled by that provider under its own privacy policy:

  • The Church Co hosts and operates the Site.
  • Church Community Builder (iConnect) hosts our connection, prayer request, and sign-up forms and our church management database.
  • Pushpay processes online giving, including general and missions giving. Your payment details (such as card or bank account numbers) are entered directly with Pushpay; Springs Church does not receive or store full payment card or bank account numbers.
  • Mailchimp manages our email newsletter subscriptions.
  • Google Analytics helps us understand Site traffic and usage.
  • YouTube hosts our sermons and livestreams. Watching embedded or linked videos may allow YouTube (Google) to collect information according to its own policies.
  • Google Maps displays our location on the Contact page.
  • Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube) are linked from the Site. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
  • Our mobile app is provided through a third-party app platform, which may collect information as described in its own privacy policy.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only:

  • With church staff and approved ministry leaders and volunteers who need it to serve you
  • With the service providers listed above, who help us operate the Site and our ministries
  • When required by law, or to protect the safety of any person, including children in our care
  • With your consent

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We and our providers use them to keep the Site working and to measure traffic. Information about children for our Springs Kids and Youth ministries (such as registration or check-in details) should be provided by a parent or guardian. We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, such as maintaining church membership and attendance records, and as required by law (for example, giving records for tax purposes). When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on established providers that use industry-standard security, including encryption for online giving. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Ask to see, correct, or update the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law
  • Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any newsletter
  • Update your profile directly in iConnect if you have an account

The Site links to websites we do not control, including giving, form, video, and social media platforms. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
