These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of www.springs.church (the "Site"), operated by Springs Church ("Springs Church," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Site

The Site shares information about Springs Church, including our beliefs, ministries, events, sermons, and ways to connect, pray, serve, and give. Some features, such as forms, online giving, newsletters, and video, are provided through third-party services linked from the Site.

2. Using the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes and in a way that is lawful and respectful. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose
  • Submit false information or impersonate another person
  • Post or send content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, obscene, or hateful
  • Send spam, advertising, or unsolicited solicitations through our forms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or other users' information
  • Upload or transmit viruses or other harmful code
  • Scrape, copy, or collect content or personal information from the Site using automated means

3. Our Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise noted, the content on the Site, including text, sermons, videos, photographs, graphics, and the Springs Church name and logos, is owned by or licensed to Springs Church and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may view, download, and share our content for personal, non-commercial, ministry-related use, provided you credit Springs Church and do not alter it. Sharing links to our pages and videos is always welcome. Any other use, including commercial use or republishing, requires our written permission. Worship music, Scripture translations, and other third-party materials remain the property of their owners and are used under license.

4. Information You Submit

When you submit a form, prayer request, registration, or message, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it, including any information about family members or others. You allow Springs Church to use what you submit to respond to you and carry out our ministry, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may decline or remove any submission at our discretion.

5. Online Giving

Online gifts are processed by Pushpay, a third-party payment provider, and are also subject to Pushpay's terms and privacy policy. By giving online, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

  • Gifts are voluntary. Gifts to Springs Church are generally non-refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error (for example, a wrong amount or a duplicate transaction), please contact us promptly and we will review your request.
  • Designated gifts. We honor donor designations, such as gifts to missions, whenever possible. Springs Church retains final discretion over how all gifts are used to further the mission of the church.
  • Recurring gifts. You can change or cancel recurring gifts at any time through your Pushpay account or by contacting us.
  • Tax records. We provide contribution statements as required by law. Please consult your tax advisor about the deductibility of your gifts.

6. Events, Groups, and Activities

Registering for an event, group, trip, or ministry through the Site does not guarantee participation. Some activities may require separate registration forms, fees, consent forms, waivers, or background checks, which will apply in addition to these Terms. Parents or guardians are responsible for registering minors and for the accuracy of the information provided.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site links to third-party websites and services, including Church Community Builder, Pushpay, Mailchimp, YouTube, Google Maps, and social media platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. No Professional Advice

Content on the Site, including sermons and articles, is provided for spiritual encouragement and general information. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. If you are in crisis or facing an emergency, please call 911 or contact the appropriate professional.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep information accurate and current, but we make no warranties, express or implied, that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free of harmful components, or that event details, schedules, and other information are complete or up to date.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Springs Church and its pastors, staff, volunteers, and leaders will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content or third-party service linked from it.

11. Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless Springs Church and its pastors, staff, volunteers, and leaders from any claims, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in El Paso County, Colorado.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
